They are lovely :)

I really want to try an oriental lily but havent got a scooby what size to do - bump will be born in feb so i either do a teeny one or a bigger size for next winter....hmmmm

Jenna, how about a short sleeved one that'll be like a dress first and then a tunic towards the winter. We layer Poppys and it looks really cute over a long sleeved top with tights (and then leggings later). :)

Have you got a piccy Carolyn? :) Thats a good idea actually. Im so excited about having gorgeous wee things but it makes me sad to think they wont fit long so thats a good compromise :)

I made one for Nell with short sleeves - partly because it would never get finished and partly because the wool was a bit scratchy so thought it would be better with a little cotton long-sleeved T-shirt underneath. This is a pic of Nell wearing it in March this year - it still fits her now (but is a bit short!). I used the 24m sized pattern.

I'm currently making the big sister version in size 5T for DD1. It's taking me aaaaggeeeeeeeeesssssssss!!! (and this one will be short-sleeved too).

It looks really nice like that, thankyou for sharing the photo :)

I posted this on the lls thread aswell but best put it in here too :)

I finished my baby blanket last night :) The photos really dont do it justice as at, i went for a very simple pattern as i wanted the handspun yarn to do the talking, the texture of it is amazing and it will be so cozy. I had to guestimate what size to go to with the amount of yarn i had, but i just made it!

Dh looked very perplexed by the fact i kept touching it last night and then announced i would like santa to bring me a spinning wheel as well as a sewing maching :hohoho:

I love the blanket, Jenna. Which pattern did you go for in the end?
