tory- if u see this, i could give u a big sloppy virtual kiss! i have officially done kitchener stitch for the first time and it looks fab! i copied the bit u wrote into my notes and followed that, i'm mega impressed although i ended up with more stitches in one leg that the other so had to create some.... i'm hoping it'll be un noticeable when they're done, i didn't have the heart to pull them all out again.

even me mother said well done (she can't do it though!)

I have spent all morning frogging, re-knitting and frogging again...i think im back on track...i almost burnt the whole dam lot

Where did ye get patterns for the skirties please?

My skirty is using the wigglebunz creations soaker pattern with the skirt pattern its not a free pattern but it looks great

Got this far but its taking alot longer than normal, every other stitch is slipped, so basically knitting 2 rounds only gives you 1 round in measurement
short rows are interesting too

I hope not ,i`ve only got one skein of main colour they are coming up a bit thicker than normal though.
They may have to be shorties not boardies

lol! i always over order and end up with loads of spare, but ive got almost enough to make up a pair of scrappies now!!
is linen stitch hard?? i might give it a go, tho might just do a soaker in it or he will be leaving home by the time they are done

not got alot done today wanted to have finished them but ds1 has ANOTHER sickness bug. he proceeded to empty out his breakfast on a basket of freshly washed nappy inserts. thank god it was only inserts not nappies!!!!

thanks hun, so proud, i even did my first icord, amazed by how easy they are to make, gonna have to find me a new wool shop soon though as i've only got 1 boy colourway i haven't done in my local wool shop

it took me mths to try and do a icord from a pattern i had to do it from looking on youtube
