didn't have any points where it didn't look right and was quite impressed with how I tackled the short rows - but I did get confused on the gusset increase bit, am doing the XL size and am sure the math on it isn't quite right
worked it out though as had to knit 5 after the second stitch marker to reach my p2 again each time rather than 4
Anyway - I am just doing the second leg now and it looks right to me
This is worrying, I didn't knit the X-L size, test knitters did. If that size is wrong though then the others should also be. I have two arms of a cardigan to knit then I will knit up the X-L myself to check what has happened.
Ah, don't worry about it too much it is probably just me being inept and confusing things - I am assuming that it should continue the same k9p2 pattern around with the build up of 8stitches front and back via m1 between markers? and therefore I had to knit 4 pm do relevant m1 and k's to next marker, then there were 5 k stitches left before the p2 was reached
this was the case on ever gusset round <which also although not written is self explanatory to knit the k stitches and p the previos p ones? > Anyway whether what I did was right or not, the gusset has gone in beautifully and the legs are both identical with k9p2 x 3 then k13p2 as per the pattern so that is why I thought I would mention it!
I just kind of figured the stitches between the pm's were independant to the ongoing pattern and therefore there needed to be 6,7,8,9k stitches in total per section when the pattern reads : K2,2,3,4...........k2,3,3,4 before the p2 - so therefore totalling k4,5,6,8
Like I say - I have most likely just got it totally wrong - so don't
I would think it is more likely you need to just explain to me what I should have actually done/ where I have misread the pattern...... rather than there actually being a problem with the pattern itself!!!!
It is a beautiful pattern and a lovely knit anyway, so well done
