Yes, it is a young einstien, which is the cardigan from the little rascals ebook pattern which also has the hoodlum :giggle: it is so so lovely and really nice to knit - I have changed it slightly to suit us better, the pattern has buttons right down the front, but I prefer it open on Naomi so only made three buttonholes and added a ribbed waistband too as wanted it to have a bit more shape

Another cardigan for Katie. I still need to buy buttons as I can't find anything suitable in my box :(

Ohhh that's pretty! What pattern is it? Not sure I could cope with cables but it's just the shape i've been looking for. :giggle:

Edited because of auto-correction. /sigh

Very pretty Ali! You have my sympathy with buttons, I'm struggling to find the right ones for a couple of projects here too.

Carolyn, cables are much easier than you'd think - it's just putting a couple of stitches on another needle, knitting a couple and then knitting those you've moved back onto your working needles again. There's nothing to it.

I keep looking at them because there's another pattern I want to do but I'm to chicken.

you definitely need to try it Carolyn, honestly it's not hard. It's just knitting, but you knit the sts in a different order than you would normally.

The pattern is a tester for Comfort Wool, it will be called Langston Shrug.

It's so hard getting the 'right' ones. i've got hundreds but nothing that looked good with the colour. I'm going button shopping tomorrow, but even when I do get them it will probably sit in the ever-growing pile of things needing buttons as I really don't like sewing buttons.
