Ali, we need to meet up for button sewing and a coffee lol. I hate sewing of any kind. I've got button sewing to do this evening and I've just cast something on only to read that I've forgotten 3 button holes. Oh well, that's 3 less to sew on :hohoho: Fortunately they don't matter too much.

All very yummy ladies!

I don't mind the sewing part

Have nearly finished aleshas oriental lily, hopefully will have it done tomorrow, for my first proper knitting project it's been a little hit and miss, first time knitting a proper item, first time knitting in the round and I've also never knitted from a pattern, have loved doing it Even with a few mistakes on the way, although not a happy bunny as i wanted it to be dress length but I've got barely any wool left so will end up being more of a long tunic/jumper type thing

Here is a pair of scrappies I've just finished crocheting as a little pressie for someone, using all LLS scraps. I love the way they have turned out

sportyminx wrote:Yes, it is a young einstien, which is the cardigan from the little rascals ebook pattern which also has the hoodlum :giggle: it is so so lovely and really nice to knit - I have changed it slightly to suit us better, the pattern has buttons right down the front, but I prefer it open on Naomi so only made three buttonholes and added a ribbed waistband too as wanted it to have a bit more shape

I like the open bottom look, that's what caught my eye! How much yarn does it take? Would be thinking 0-3 or 3-6 size and have 270g aran

The Young Einstein in 0-3 months with a hood takes 300m and the 3-6 takes a teeny bit more. So, 270g of aran should be plenty.
