Sammie -I think it really suits Alesha and the fit is fab too. I do think you're amazing the way you just tackle anything and get going with it. Great sewing too. I would love to make skirts but haven't the first clue

thankyou hun, i tihkn being single and evenings being very quiet and a tad lonely means lots of time to do things like this, keeps me busy

skirts arnt scary at all, the ones i do are a little more complicated but the most basic of skirt is simple a long rectangle of fabric,(approx 4 times waist measurement for the long side and the length of the skirt you want plus 2/3inches approx for the width) hemmed at one of the longer edges, then sew together too make a tube, and then hem the top edge but making the width of the hem big enough to put elastic through, and magic, a pretty skirt try it xx

Thanks but no, it isn't an in the three's it is a maggie flower cardigan but adapted as wanted to keep it simple because the yarn speaks for itself in beauty I think
It is aca merino DK yarn so is so so soft and scrummy!
