we're moving to houston and its boiling... so no aran. I'm gutted

won't it still feel cold, relatively, in the winter though? I know in Israel it's boiling and although the winters were mild, they didn't feel it once you'd lived through the summer iyswim. And didn't parts of Texas have snow this winter?

Yup houston did! They told everyone in DH's work not to come in... But its not that bad its mostly the concrete overpasses that freeze over and no one has experience of driving in those conditions. It does get cold in winter, enough for a coat, but they won't need as many jumpers as they have done here
