hi, can i ask if you are following a pattern for the crochet longies or just make it up as you go along...looks like the shape is quite simple, reckon i might have a bash!

Those are looking YUM! I really need to give crochet longies/soaker a go...

I use the Ladybugz Peppermint soaker pattern with the legs extneded to need length, but tbh it is really simple, just chain as many stitches as you need, join, hdc round and round til you get to the right length, do the other leg, then join and do the top.

I need to find a soaker pattern for Dawnie as she wont wear wool on her legs I'm guessing it works up quicker than knitting?

The one I use is a Soaker pattern really, I just make the legs longer.

Meant to say yep I find it much quicker than knitting and I only learnt to crochet about 6 months ago.

I need to learn to chrochet but it looks so hard
