Poppy's dress so far.. Seems the yarn isnt as well suited to the pattern as i had hoped so i'm going to have to make a few little stitches here and there to tighten up joins.

So pretty! What pattern are you using?

Its the Teacher's Pet, hun. It has a few variations for skirts/hem and despite it being a really long pattern is really easy to follow.

It was only when I finished that dress that I thought.... I could have just done the teacher's pet!
Martha's dress was a combination of Ian Polo romper and Sheepy skirt cheer skirt.

Why isn't the yarn well suited to the pattern? Looks great to me.

Thanks hun, it doesn't have the spring back like 100% merino does. So i'm going to have to pull the stitch tighter on the inside and sew it a little. Maybe having a glass of rum and coke whilst i was knitting didn't help either..

That's very sweet!
I don't see it as boring - I see it as having lots of potential in that it will match lots of things
