I've been doing some crochet instead, working on a little dolly blanket just to get some practise :giggle: then I'm going to start on a pair of shorties for Dawn  Really need to start buying some cotton yarn now, for some little bits and bobs for summer

The boardies look great Tory.

I've got a few more things to add - a downside of the school hols is that Katie wants one of everything she sees me making :giggle: I'll do some pics later

Love the boardies Tory.

Hows the crochet going Stacey, its quite easy isn't it once you get going? Just be aware that there's a difference between American and English patterns though...what they call a treble crochet is our our double.

I havent started reading patterns yet :giggle: But I'm following a granny square tutorial i found on Youtube. It was quite quick so I kept pausing it after each bit and catching up, then starting it again.
Next trick is to learn to read patterns :hohoho:

This is my first item knitted on the circulars..... a simple lace knit skirt. The waist band looks a better match in real life, the colour is just flat where as on the Pixie Knits aran they are much sparklier.....

Thank you. I am pleased with it as a first attempt. I get bored of knit, knit, knitting... luckily this lace pattern is really simple.
