Had so many problems posting that pic that I forgot to comment on your longies Isobel. They are gorgeous.

I am loving this thread and am in awe of your lovely projects ladies. Although I am working through the pages I am only on page 25 out of 47!! I love the longies Annika - the colourway is gorgeous I might look for something like that for ds. And I love the little crochet hat - my mum loves crocheting and tried to teach me. If I knew when I was 10 that I would be wanting to make lovely things for babies when I was 33 I might have persevered

Anyway - this is my first soaker using babylonglegs merino aran - I am now trying to do the cuffs after the knitwitch helped me with kitchener stitch. I was so impressed with this stitch it rocks! But am going to have to unravel the cuffs cause I cast off too tight. I couldn't find anything on youtube that showed you how to do cuffs on soakers so I had to work it out myself using dpns. Hope it turns out right!



Now I will go back to working my way through this thread!

That looks great!! I love kitchener/grafting too, could sit for hours doing it (if I was undisturbed!!). You can do the legs on circulars, just pull a loop through half way around if your cable is too long.

Im almost finished my newsest baordies this pair have taken me a week...pretty chuffed with that!!

I'm almost finished I just have to finish of the cuff on the second leg and then the cord

I am quite proud of them since they are my first pair of mummy made longies and I love the way the LLS yarn club has knitted up.
next I will be casting on a Juliette skirty

Finnished! Just need to do the i-cord...thats a job for the evening when hubby is home to talk to, i find i-cords really boring
