I LOVE doing i-cords too! It's so satisfying!

i love doing icords, hate doing waistbands. they drive me insane. if i don't count right i end up with 4 purl in a row. think i got a few longies with that design fault.....

Michelle, thats a great first project, you must be very chuffed.
i am just about to start the gusset increases on this pair of longies,making them a bit bigger/longer for the winter.
This is re-cycled wool, i bought a pair of crocheted longies from CNT in Mosaic Moon wool and frogged them(the seller was totally happy with me doing this)

Just got through all the posts. Love the shorts and scrappies annika and I love all your projects Tory. And well done isobel they are fantastic for a first attempt.

Thanks for all the positive comments on my soaker. DH called them James' amazing technicolour pants! he doesn't get the knitting thing and says he looks like a hippy. The colorway is babylonglegs Radiance 'reflections'.

Ooh tracey I was thinking about buying a bigger garment and frogging it but couldn't find anything I liked or not too felted.
