Tory, can't you knit girly stuff for Megan? It doesn't all have to be soakers and stuff, there are some gorgeous little dresses, cardi's and the like! I knit for a little girl and do the needed nappy stuff and then add a little something, last time a dress, time before a hat and I'm planning another dress next time.

The colours are more vibrant in real life too.
Im still working on the DIY fairy so this is my easy project to do inbetween.

I have serious yarn envy I love love love this yarn, its on my most wanted list...... just gorgeous.

The Nappy Garden's Flight of the Phoenix

Neither of these ones are for Kerr, but I've just started some Flight of the Phoenix ones for him tonight. Also looking forward to getting my LLS co-op yarn and some Blue Banana from Halo Baby. And I'm thinking of ordering some Snugglebots Pumpkin Patch and Jungle yarn for winter woolies for him too.

Gorgeous, I'm glad I'm not the only one already thinking ahead to autumn winter. My knitting is so slow that I'm already starting on winter longies

I have some pixie knits and lush tush yarn for winter longies but i dont know how to estimate the inner leg length that I would need

For winter longies for C i am aiming for 20-21 in rise ,23 in hip and probably an 11 in leg, how does this compare to your measurements Tory? The great thing about knitting your own , you can always lengthen the legs again if you have some spare wool left.
The Dragons lair shorties that i am doing will be made into longies at the end of the summer, i have 2 more skeins so i will just use 1 of them to add the legs later

Trace, atm Kieren is a 22" hip, 19" rise and 10" inner leg...so yeah i guess your measurements would allow for a little growth too...he isnt growing as fast as he was obviously...

Perhaps a a 12 in leg may be better, i dont think the hip measurement increases to much more with age , just the legs really and maybe a little on the rise
