wow! some of the things you ladies knit is gorgeous and the yarn colours are amazing.
wish i could knit, wish i had sat and listened to my nan while she was alive when she tried to teach me...she was an absolutly amazing knitter..the stuff she made was to die for and wow she was soooo fast!
i wish she was still here now, she would have made the kids some amazing things.

one day i might comission one of you to make ethan some soakers /longies so i can give this whole wool thing a try. :hohoho: :hohoho:

I know what you mean....My mum is a great knitter but lives 250m away. Have you thought about learning? I've got so fed up at watching everyone else having so much fun knitting items that I've taken the plunge and started teaching myself :knit: :wine:

i would love to learn hun but i just dont have the time to dedicate to it. besides i think i need one to one help with knitting, i dont think its the kind of thing i could learn offline. i mean i wouldnt even know how to sew all the bits of the items together...i can roughly sew on a machine but i am pants at sewing by hand.....i so wish i could learn though.

Just finished (although not yet blocking) these SMSS convertible bloomers. I've knitted them for my part of a trade (been paid in scrummy yarn!) and am just hunting for some funky buttons which I'll stitch onto the leg sections so they'll be fully convertible!
