Dawnsmummy - I look forward to seeing it done - lovely colours!

LucyLou - such cute longies! They look beautifully knitted too :wine:

I'm working on my shawl - well, I shouldn't be, but I thought I'd squeeze in a few rows after breakfast :giggle: I had a big knitting day yesterday, so I'm about 13" in :wine:

(I need to get longer needles for it soon  )

You can just see that the bottom few inches are a bit greener than the top bit, which is where I've moved from one skein to the next. I don't think the next one will change that subtlely, but I like how it looks anyway :)

So do we get to see pics of the finished project? Was it worth the wait? :giggle:

Soaker is drying after lanolising atm so will post action pics once its dry. The colours remind me of one of those candy canes you put on the xmas tree :giggle:

Here's my current project - an Oriental Lily for DD in Pixie Knits Breezy DK
Image

- it's only the 2nd thing I've ever knit - it's going ok so far, only had to frog once when my stitch markers got out of place, although now i've finished the first set of increases and have realised that I have an extra stitch on one side - it looks like I've had it all along though so I really don't want to frog again, so I'm thinking I'll just k2tog on the first row (the extra stitch is on the top of one arm) - should that work ok?

Also - here's a pic of my first ever project - a snapdragon soaker

I always read this thread <as in from start to finish :giggle: > but never post  so maybe now is about time - I won't bore you with recent finished projects, but here is a pic of what is on my needles at the mo.......

Image

Doesn't look very exciting :hohoho: but it is the back piece of a sleeveless Hoodie I am making for Bradley - but it is way more exciting than it looks as it is the first thing I have ever :knit: for him and you can imagine his anticipation :giggle:

LLS 'mint choc chip' superwash merino :wine:

Everyone's projects are gorgeous!!!

Danika, I am making one of those shortly for Naomi using LLS babyboo :wine:
