Thought I'd post a pic of Kacie's ridinghood sweater before I finish the main piece. I've got about 8 rounds to go so FC I can do it tonight if I can get my bum of the laptop and Missy stays in bed

oooh that jumper is sooooo pretty! i just finished some longies for oakley in tng glimmer yarn, and am currently on another pair with dyed just for taliesin wool from beth at lls. he had dd longies made and sadie sent me the left over yarn, i'mmaking longies with it just in the reverse colours will get pics up if i ever sort a new pc.

Thanks girls Well I might have finished tonight except I made a mistake on the 1st round I did so I spent a good half hour trying to figure out what I'd done, then undoing the round. I still don't know what I'd missed, but it was right at the start of the round What was even more annoying was it was the same round of pattern that I made a mistake on the other night At least I only have 4 rounds to get through tomorrow

is the RRH ok to knit hun? I really want to do Dawn one after seeing your yummy pics!

It's only my 3rd attempt of knitting in the round, the other 2 attempts not having been completed yet so it can't be that bad. The hardest thing for me is the endless rounds of plain knitting between the waistband and the hem on so many stitches I get bored by it I really enjoy knitting more intricate patterns so have enjoyed the rest of it and the pattern itself has been easy enough to follow I think

I'm the same. Give me a nice lace pattern any day of the week! You have inspired me to try one too.

Soo I love plain knitting in the round. It's a mindless task that I can do while watching TV etc. It's patterns in the knitting where I muck up Plus it's easier to enlarge plain knitting for dawn lol
