I realised last night i hadnt posted anything on this thread yet, so wanted to share my projects. I just started knitting very recently, so please be gentle with me!

I keep going back and trying on circs again but then give up and go back to straights  I actually think i might e better off trying dpns? Anyhoo, some pics.

My first finished projects, wee longies and a newborn hat. Possibly for bump depending on the flavour obviously lol.

In between doing the longies i started this cardigan. Mum said the pattern was wrong for the button holes after i tried and pulled them back about 6 times. I need to go back and finish it but i think i might pull it back as its far from perfect.

And finally some longies for Sandy. They have turned out huuuuge though so not sure what to do. Also, the pattern i used didnt have holes for the icord (i havent done that yet) so do i just poke it through best i can? I should really pull it back nd start again but i dont know if i can bare too!

Picture of the vest jumper I finished for Martha on Saturday. She was so grateful she nearly ripped it trying to tear it off.

Jenna, those ickle pink longies are adorable!! Love the cardie too! As for the i-cord on the longies yeah just poke them through the holes in the knitting (i use a DPN or something to poke the hole through so its a bit easier).

Michelle, thats gorgeous...Love that pic! :giggle:

Trace thats gorgeous!

Thanks girls :) Im still not sure if i should frog the longies or not, i should really as they are massive on the hips but i cant make myself take the plunge and do it after all that work! I might see what they look like with an icord first. Can someone point me in the direction of how to make one?

Michelle that tank top is very cute :) Martha does not look impressed though bless her!

Tracey that shawl is lovely, that would make a great xmas gift :) Quite easy to do?

My second ever pair of woolies in progress. These have been much quicker than the last pair!
The colours are brighter IRL- LLS Luscious. The cuffs on the legs will match the waist band when they are finished.
I took the plunge this time and did a grafted crotch (you can see a bit of it at the top of the second pic)- it isn't perfect but I'm pleased with it as my first ever attempt at kitchener stitch.

Everyone is knitting such yummy things at the moment! There seem to be a lot of tasty colourways in use too - hopefully I won't be ruining the trend with my most recent finished project :giggle:

Image

It's knitted from some of my leftover shawl wool, and there wasn't quite enough for long sleeves. I love the colours though :) I'm working on another from the same pattern using the wool below, and I've added a lacy insert with a leaf design on it to the bottom too. It's not finished yet as I've been distracted finishing my Onbag, but now that's done I'll try to get the sleeves finished...

Wow so many great projects :wine:

Jenna love that pic of Sandy in his longies. He is sooooooo cute :D

I've just started a jumper for Max and have only managed 2 rows so far as its in K1 P1 rib and I have to keep making sure I have moved the working yarn to the right side of the needle
