hey guys!

im on my second pair, i started them when DH was in hospital but u can imagine 3 kids and no hubby at home im a tad behind
so anyway 4 weeks later, and ive started finishing them this afternoon:



hand dyed by me, in a bright blue, pale blue, and a kind of bluey grey.

Im still thinking about trying to short rows but am really worried incase i mess it up

You should really try the short rows. It's not as hard as it looks and it makes the bum look much nicer. I do the yarn over short rows http://sameknit.blogspot.com/2007/04/ya ... -rows.html and like the results I'm getting.

Becky, i think it gorgeous! It wouldnt look right on Kieren becuase he is a bit redish on top but does your DS have dark hair??

BTW your miles ahead of me...some race I will upload photos in a bit as photobucket is down for maintenance...im loving how the blue parrot is knitting up tho and even managed the colour and needles swap both of which are a first for me! going to give short rows a crack today
