becky- of course he can wear purple! remember the longies i did for taliesin? the ones he had on in tesco (ages ago now!) they're purple, electric blue and black, he generally wears them with a top that is teal coloured and looks pretty cool. the crochet ones i mean, i should post some pics of these longies i am doing, with some wool i got in queen street :-) i did 6 inches b4 realising i'd fluffed em up, pulled them all out and started again :roll: but, the pattern is looking quite good now i think, i thought i'd try some summer weight longies so knitting them in dk merino, not sure how they'll work out, but i figure the heat would help with evaporation perhaps and he'd stay a little cooler. in theory anyway!

didnt get much done last night as charlie was up alot. ah well will do some more today as my friend has cancelled her visit. (how sad is it that im kinda pleased that shes not coming ova :oops: :oops: )

sarah you can use a loop of thread as a stitch marker. then replace them when you get the new ones.

ive never use stitch markers, i use a loop of the trim (contrasting so i can see it), i keep forgetting to order them!

I used one of megans little hair bobbles before i got my lovely pixie knit stitch markers!! :)

Short rows are going really well, have done two and have 2 more to go! :wine: When they are done i will post another pic :wine:

ive stopped my current work to unpick and extend my first pair as charlie outgrew them in three weeks :x

Yep there are some on there for £2.50 with free postage! :wine: and they are gorgeous! :wink:
