So was I - then one day I just decided to knit Naomi a cardi and now all I want to knit is cardis, hoodies, jumpers, tank tops and jumper dresses :giggle: more addictive than knitting Nappy covers I think! Naomi only has 2 pairs of longies, 2 crops and a skirty!

i really wanna try a dress at some point, but catelyn and casey are 10 now and the amount of wool would equal a heard of sheep! want some more lls wool though, the superwash is divine!

You could always use acrylic :giggle: patons FAB is really nice to knit with - real wool is much better really - but I would happily have a dress in acrylic for Naomi if it used a herds worth otherwise :giggle:

i could but i can't touch acrylic when it's wet. it goes the wrong way up my spine. oakley's teal hoodie is made from 100% wool superwash. i want the lang wool that is stunning, although would take oodles as it's sock wool. hand dyed wool is def more fun to knit with though, but i might try some acrylic one day

I've been lurking on here long enough so I thought I'd better post too!

I'm currently crocheting a skirty for Elizabeth using 100purewool yarn for the soaker and Araucania for the skirty.

I would post a picture of my progress but I can't seem to get very far and at the moment I'd only have about 4in of waistband to show!! :hohoho:

I've set myself the task to finish the waistband tonight though as I might be going to a crocheting group tomorrow and the pattern is autmotically calculated from the number of waistband rows needed - sounds complicated but if you're familiar with the Wigglebunz pattern it'll make sense! Anyway, I'd like to take the project along tomorrow in a state that \i can just carry on with it.
