BUT its NOT fitted at all. Its just straight in the body. I'll post a pic tomorrow as i'm off to bed. I'm not sure if its because I've made it a size bigger than Riley needs, so it just looks odd. hmmmmm

You may find the shape reveals itself more when you block it after its been completed.
Also what size are you doing, im guessing our boys are a similar size, Conan has a chest measurement of 21in and so i am doing the 2-3yr size which gives a 23.5in chest hoodie, may be too big

I'm making this one for Riley (who has a boys name but is a girl!) she's small though and just in 9-12 months for tops, so i've made her the 18-24 months version. But the length doesnt seem that long?

If you look on the Ravelry site at the pattern for this, the hoodie shown looks a bit short too IMO, perhaps that is how its supposed to be :-?thanks for the heads up on this ,i will make mine longer then, FC 3 skeins is enough :knit:

It just seems out of proportion, but what I might do is undo the bottom bit and knit a few more rounds, then do the bottom bit in the contrast colour.

I'm using aran and so far I've only used 1 and a half skeins. I bought 4! so looks like little Riles will have some matching stuff :giggle:

Is the sequence where you k9,P1 after the first lace row meant to be a regular sequence corresponding to the row previous? Mine is off so the K9,P1 isn't lining up the same way / pattern on the row before it? I have the right number of stitches in the full row, just not sure if I've missed a stitch or something in the row before that's making the next row of knitting offset? Does that make any sense? :giggle:

After the lace row 1 your only meant to knit (row2) after you have done row 3 you should be doing k9 p1 which should match your
Round 3: [K1, YO, K2, Slip1, K2tog, Pass slipped stitch over, K2, YO, K1, P1] Repeat to end
Round 4 : K9 p1

Or have I misread what you said :-?
