What size needles do you need for the sleuthing hoodie? length and diameter? trying to work out how much it'd cost if I need to buy the pattern, wool and new needles

You don't need to crochet, you can do other trims on it.

Do you have 4.5mm in any other length? You could use one long circ and magic loop - it's very easy.

Do you have 4.5mm in any other length? You could use one long circ and magic loop - it's very easy.

I have 20cm 4.5mm DPN but am too scared to use them Sure I'm going to do myself an injury.

Think I'm going to try the sleuthing hoodie. I have the needles and bought the pattern already.

I think I've decided on a yarn choice, will need to order that though.

I've bought 400g plus 50g trim for a 2-3 sleuthing hoodie, as it was custom-dyed for me I thought it was best to have too much, then I'll do matching mittens or something if there's some left over.

Got my pattern, could someone help with a question please - it specifies 12 & 16 inch circulars - are they really big enough for a jumper which seems to be knitted in the round?
