Yes, go for it! I knitted it after only a few hats and longies. It's pretty easy.

I lost interest in my ridinghood sweater for a little while but picked it up again & am flying through it. I'm nearly finished the skirt. I dropped the marker last night and didn't realise for a while so I have no idea where the beginning of the row is. Does it matter or do I have to go counting rows to find out where the beginning is?

It's been a while since I knitted one, but isn't it under an arm?

Yup. I don't have it in front of me now but I'm pretty sure it says work across the back and then place the marker so I do know what arm it needs to go under but I just can't find the stitch. I'm making the biggest size but I'm making it longer for my tall slim 6 year old so it's a hell of a lot of rows to count & I'm going cross eyed. It doesn't help that I only have time to knit in the evenings. Oh well.....will try again tonight. Thanks Shadow

My worsted sweater sleuth sweater size 5 turned out larger than a 32" chest and is too big for me!!! hummmm what do you think went wrong?
I used Cestari MM Kirkyard yarn on 7" gauge

I really want to do the hoodie, but I somehow got confused and I have DK rather than Aran... Is there anyway I could change that pattern to make DK work, or do I have to completely rethink my plan?
