I can't decide on wool! I really would like some WAHM dyed wool, but I'd like to be able to throw it in the wash.....

So get some WAHM dyed superwash! The Hoodie I did was in superwash from Jimmy Riddles.

Ali, would I have enough to make a 12-18 month size with this if I got a skein of something else for the trim/pocket?

http://pixieknits.co.uk/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=940

and if so....could you dye me something matching for the pocket

The hoodie's gorgeous, although beyond me I'm sure. But I've just joined Ravelry and am looking for an easy hat pattern to get me started, hopefully I'll be up to hoodie standard soon, I need it! Bit stressed about the whole knitting in a round malarky but I'll give it a go.

Thinking about it, I throw all of our wool in the machine anyway, regardless of it being machine washable. Do you have a wool setting on your machine? Or even a delicates cycle that you can ensure is on a low heat and low spin? That's all it needs really.

if you have a handwash setting (most machines have now) then you should be fine :wine:
