Love this thread!! Nothing to add as I'm on a diet at the moment
But, I did tidy my stash the other day and rediscovered all my elvincraft laceweight skeins that are just too gorgeous to crochet with
Will take some pics and upload when the light's better :D

I tend to get most of my MM through co-ops. The odd skein direct from Morwenna probably takes 1-2wks to arrive, depending on customs.

The couple of times that I've ordered direct from Morwenna it has taken about 2 weeks to get here. Like Shadow says: it depends on Customs

She usually gives the shipping date on her website so you can work out a rough date from that

Oh and depending upon how much you have ordered you can expect extra charges to be around £12-14. Last time I ordered 16oz and was charged this amount - its made up of a flat £8 handling charge from RM and then the rest is customs

I LOVE MM wool and it is beautiful to behold but it is a VERY expensive option unless you can get in on a co-op :(

The trouble with doing an MM co-op here is that you are talking boxes and boxes of yarn, each would ship seperately and incur it's own customs charges. It really wouldn't be worth it in the long run I'd think :( I know Morwenna does do co-ops for other countries, but personally the customs charges split between however many of us on here would way out number that of me buying in a co-op in US iyswim. If you keep an eye on the MM site, she has a list of co-ops, you could always get in on those as you can see where they are going to be in advance iyswim.

Now Babylonglegs.......no customs there ;)

A Jimmy Riddles one would be fantastic too!

I tend to avoid overseas coops because of the custom charges they ways seem to incur, in the end you've spent the same amount as you would going direct or through a UK retailer.
