Weekly wool haul, thread for all.

Frances, as always, beautiful wool! I haven't bought any wool in oooooo, a week. But it feels like FOREVER!

I didn't buy any for ages and then bought all this on a yarn binge! I still have another 3 sets of wool coming

I just hate winding it all into balls I have skiens and skiens sat waiting to be knitted and it puts me off becuase i hate winding it... I need a wool winding service!!

I've received some undyed cashmerino from Plumknits - she had a 40% discount recently. I got a single skein of dark teal cashmere too. I've a few bits coming, including some handspun and some Dashing Dachs, but nothing exciting just yet.

Tory, get a winder. Or even better a winder and a swift!!
I used to wind into balls by putting two chairs together, at an angle, putting the skein around the backs and winding off of those, that was fairly fast.

You need to have a night of just winding!! Thats what I did the other week. I'm like you and it puts me off when its still in skeins as I think I'll need to wind it first...................

That pink cosmos is gorgeous too, mine turned out really pale, so although i like how its knitted up i was hoping that it would be nice and bright like yours.
