I've just lanolised my longies for the first time, and I've put them on my clothes horse to dry (is this ok or should I be drying them flat?) but they still feel 'waxy' is this right? Or have I got to much mixture left in? I tried wrapping them in a towel and squeezing them, have I not squeezed enough?
I would dry them flat if you can, I always pop mine in the airing cupboard away from direct heat. And it sounds like you may have used a tiny bit too much lanolin if they are sticky, but don't worry too much, LO will have nicely moisturised legs for a while!
We don't have an airing cupboard, so I've put them on the bathroom counter (there's a towel radiator under the counter so it should dry them without them being on direct heat.
It won't cause him any discomfort or to come out in a rash or anything will it? (It's woolishous scented lanolin)
