I've been looking at this one. It's just a really simple wrap, so think it will be good for my first attempt at making something useful!

I'm a bit of a slow knitter and spent ages making the tinybird longies, but the waistband too big and they just fell off first time I put them on my son! Don't know if that's cos of the pattern or my dodgy knitting. That reminds me I must unpick them cos they're made out of gorgeous merino wool.

Just make a drawstring and feed it through the waistband.

Hi
I'm a new knitter and I really want to try the doodlepants longies pattern but I'mnot sure how to work out how much wool I need to buy.

Can someone tell me how to work it out :?
Thanks Tash

This isnt a free pattern (its $14 edit Nov 2014 - now $8) but its supposed to be a great soaker that fits your LO from 20lbs to potty training. looks cute too! :)
