DIY Santa - check your Sorting Office and let us know UPDATE

With all the extra mail and mini strickes the posties had that week, it's possible that the posties just didn't take your parcels out with them. I know a card should have been left, but there's been times when i've not had a card and the parcel was sat waiting on the shelf in the sorting office

The sorting office usually keep parcels for 2/3 weeksish so if you could give them a ring, all those missing pressies might just turn up. After all there's no return address for them to be sent back to!

UPDATED: I got a proof of postage for my parcel which should have insured it for £32ish, so if my recipient hasn't recieved theirs i'd like to know so i can claim compensation, and maybe send something else.

Just phoned them. They don't have anything on their shelves for me at the moment. They said that nless it was send with recorded delivery they have no means to track it. There is still a bit of hope though as he said that if it was sent 2 week ago they are still a bit behind and catching up.
So fingers crossed....

i think i still have my proof of postage too so if my santa-ee (should i just say who she is as she really hasnt been on here in ages!) hasnt got hers either then i will sort something else out xx

my santaee hasn't made any post for a while either -m but then cnt has been having problems, i'd just like to know one way or the other if its been recieved - we've no way of knowing any other way,
so please please please reply and tell us whether you've recieved your gift or not

Ok ladies my spreadsheet with your recipient's names on are at home so I will PM/email etc them tonight...
I will go prod all the missing santa-ees

Gayle - your Santa has received and is soooooooo sorry she hasn't been online to say thankyou, she loves it! She's having trouble getting online at the moment but promised me she'd be on as soon as she can!
