I'm not keen on soup for tea , doesn't feel enough , will always be a lunch for me!!??

DH describes soup as a nice drink, before the proper meal. My kids don't like soup at all so it's only me who likes it.

yep soup is definitely a lunch or starter thing for me, had the jambalaya and it was lovely but the rice in it was a bit too mushy for me. think i'll add it in later next time.

can't remeber who asked earlier but jamie olivers pancke recipe is 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 1 egg. it's the only one i can ever remember. i like simple things :D

Celery... I love it! Makes a great stirfry with carrots, ginger and soya sauce, celery and potato soup (for lunch I guess), you can even braise it as a side dish with anything. Also, my all-time favourite snack as a kid: 'ants on a log' celery filled with peanut butter and topped with raisins. I requested this to be served instead of cake at my 4th birthday. I guess I must have been a pretty weird kid.

If celery gets boring, you can also chop and freeze to add to pasta sauces, soups, etc as you need it.
