I'd normally bake at 180/190 for about 15 mins or until they spring back when you press them in the centre.

Buttercream, I do half the amount of butter to sifted icing sugar. I then put it in the Kitchen Aid to beat it for about 5 mins.

Try 175g of butter and 350g of icing sugar. That should be enough.

I used the hummingbird buttercream icing recipe but used louises cupcake recipe as the cakes tasted better than the HB ones ;)

I use disposable icing bags and a Wilton 1m nozzle :wink: Its dead easy.

I will admit that mine only look like that because I bought one of the nozzles that louise mentioned (A wilton one) after having a major strop with my cheapie icing bag and nozzles :oops:
