Is there something in milk that's not in milk products?

Just curious? I have slowly introduced some things that contain milk and we were doing fine. I put milk on the shopping instead of the soya milk I have been having (probably wont do it again tbh as I have gone right off the taste) and Holly seems a bit out of sorts.
I just wondered if there was something in cows milk that broke down when it was cooked and added to things iykwim. I have a brief search and I can't find anything that says.

There is less lactose in processed products like yogurt but big amounts of it in breastmilk so lactose intolerance in babies isn't that common.I would imagine some of the proteibs in it are denatured by cooking etc too.

So could it just be that there is too much cmp in the actual milk and as long as restrict dairy to the cooked and processed sort and leave out milk and cheese we should be ok?

We were specifically told to reintroduce hidden dairy and then cooked dairy with Olivia... The dietician said milk should be the very last thing we try her with!!

She's fine now with most things but we still haven't tried cows milk, I still use rice or oat milk for cooking as well just in case it triggers something!
