Yep, fish cakes or fingers, chicken and apple balls or chicken goujons are good too.

Salmon fishcakes - potatoes, salmon fillet, eggs and breadcrumbs
haddock fishcakes - haddock, sweet potato, spring onion, egg

I used to make (and still do) chicken and sweet chilli burgers/balls. basically minced chicken (I do a mix of breast and thigh for taste!) add a massive glug of sweet chilli sauce. I always have to cook one then realise I havent added enough, make into shapes and coat in crunched up cornflakes, shallow fry then finish in the oven.

Delicious!

@ems101 I've made the veggie muffins that someone linked to ages ago, and Lola devours them. SHe's currently chomping her way through her third right now. And I cut the veggies up small enough so the toots think they are eating 'Rescue bot muffins'

these ones - they are delicious, and freeze well too

Oh and you can squish them back into a ball once they've ended up all over the floor etc to be re-eaten!

brill! Im veggie, so not good with meat and meaty flavour mixing, but will try these out. @Gilbertandmartha

Love the idea of reconstructing muffins! verging on grotesque, but arguably necessary ;)

I'm all about foods that can be squished back again!

Ooooh, chicken and apple balls are yummy! I know you are veggie but I haven't made them since Jonah was weaning. Might make some of those :D

Fish cakes would be lovely. Emmet loves fish fingers x

Sweetcorn fritters are quick and easy too. Just Sweetcorn and spring onion in batter mix then a spoonful into the frying pan to make the fritter. Sometimes I'll add other veg but the kids prefer the sweetcorn ones. I dip into sweet chilli sauce and the kids often like it with ketchup.
