Soups, pesto, pate, sauces (for pasta/fish/meat dishes). I make up a massive batch of pizza sauce in one go along with several batches of pizza dough so there's always a quick easy meal in the freezer), ice cream, drinks (homemade lemonade is yummy).

@louise what is your pizza sauce recipe?

Ruth @northernruth good plan with the passata, mine hate bits in sauce, I can hide heaps of veg I've just realised!

@sim added the vanilla paste (had some in from last baker swap) was :drool: delicious!

Also tried a little ice (bit nervous on this one, scared I'll break it!) and that was good, cocktails sound fun!

Mine is 500 watts but the one 3x the price was 650 so hope it won't blow up or anything! what are all yours? I'm surprised so many of you have them why has no one told me I needed one before? :hohoho:

:D I've never been tagged before! It does sound strange! I used to have a paper making kit and it recommended blending the scraps you were using before squishing it through the wood/mesh/frame thing! Worked, but tricky to get all the bits out from under the blade before making soup!

Pizza sauce (enough for 2 10/11" ish pizzas)

1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 can chopped tomatoes
handful of fresh basil

Saute the onion and garlic until softened. Add the tomatoes and basil and simmer for 30 minutes. (I do this while the dough is rising)
Blend.
