Yum! Lemon Curd

I had some this morning and it tasted great. I'd kind of got used to the super market stuff and this tastes so completely different. The taste and smell really did take me back to the days when my nan used to make it too @laceybat . Very fond memories as she was such a good cook and I would always got a little plumper during our holiday visits

Thank you @Mareth for the info about the lime curd. I really like lime and we get given them from time to time. I'll definitely root it out and try it next time. Orange sounds really interesting too @Sunset, is it less tart/much sweeter?

@Mr Clothmama Yes, the orange is sweeter and less tangy whereas the lime is more tangy

I eventually got a mo to make the orange curd using the same recipe. I think it turned out pretty well considering my meagre talents. Thanks @Sunset for the idea as I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise

I must admit I cheated and used 1/2 lemon zest 1/2 orange zest. For some reason I couldn't grate enough from the oranges. I was probably using the wrong tool but has anyone got any tricks for zesterising an orange?

I still have a huge mound of lemons to use up. Any ideas?

Lemon syrup?
Lemon cordial?
Lemon marmalade?
