We have been using a different brand one for about 2 years with India now and it has been the best money we have ever spent! I ended up getting a really expensive one from jojo maman bebe because it was all they had in the shop and I was desperate with the 5am wake up calls! It worked from day one

Max just stays in his bed and waits for us to go in but if that changes, I'll be getting him one too. :D

I have been thinking of getting one for a couple of months but wasn't sure if Darcy would get it yet, she does understand quite a lot so maybe worth getting one. She wakes between 5-5:30am most days and I am really struggling with tiredness now baby no 2 is on the way so if I could get her to stay in bed a bit longer it would be fab  off to go and have a look now to see about buying one :giggle:

I've been thinking of getting one of these for DD for a while, just mentioned this to DH who said it's mean to keep her in bed longer in the morning if she wants to get up.

AArgh that makes me so mad  (may be pregnancy hormones). But i have a recognised sleep disorder and am commonly still awake at 2 or 3am each night. I said 'what if she wants to get up at 6am', to which he replied 'its not that early' (he goes to work at 5.30am and is a complete early bird).

ooh so so

We got one last month. Jasmine must have been quietly waiting for the sun because she came rocketing out of her room at 6.45am on the dot the first morning :giggle:

It's our third night of using it for my 3 yr old tonight. She doesn't wake up ridiculously early but has crept from after to 7am to nearer 6am and it's killing me. Can't say it's been a huge success yet as I've still been up on and off between 6 and 7 with her, but she most definitely understands it and hoping things will improve...... No idea why she suddenly needs so much less sleep??? Adding a blackout blind to her window this weekend to try and help too.

We are about to take the side off the cot, so will be getting something like this - I'm very lucky as if we 're quiet, I can get till about 7:40 before she calls for me - she wakes earlier but lies in her cot 'reading' to her bears. I have quite a creaky bed, though, so if I roll over too quickly she hears and starts shouting!

I always take her back to bed with me though, and we snuggle for about another 10-15 minutes which is bliss. I'm making the most of it, as come April she'll be at nursery more, and obviously Peanut will have arrived. I'll miss our lazy mornings...
