Oscar has place as a day boy at a very good private college locally, but this opportunity has just come up at the last minute. The college in Ireland is full but they made a couple of places available for the children of Irish living abroad so they can be educated in Ireland, something that has always meant a lot to DH, infact he talks about moving back quite often (not in front of the kids though, i wouldnt want to unsettle them)
This college is very well know in Ireland, James Joyce,loads of the national Irish rugby squad and many government ministers went there, so there is a feeling that if he like its and gets an offer, he should really grab it with both hands.
