If I had to guess I would say that "the hurricane was dizzy" isn't what the teacher wanted because she's used an adjective instead of verb. Every example that I've seen personifies with a verb. Totally a guess though.

joeli, you are quite correct! :oops: dizzy being the adjective and was being the verb

i'm terrified for when taneli starts bring home work i dont understand!!!!
at the moemnt its just reading...which i can manage!! (even tho its both in hebrew and in english...and my hebrew reading is on a similar level to his :giggle: )
when they start doing proper stuff i dont know what i'll do! (probably post on here for help too!!)

I'm sure when we did Animal Farm at school we were told it was personification. I was never told anything about anthropomorphism at school so it definitely wasn't described as that :-? . Bleedin' useless teachers I had obviously :lol:
