... this morning when Joshua hugged his Kinder (pre-school) teacher goodbye. The summer holidays are starting this week and his last day at Kinder was today. He'll be starting 'big' school on the 1st of Feb, and although I am looking forward to having more time alone with Anna and Caitlin, it makes me realise my first born is growing up!
I am so proud of him - some of you may remember that it took 8 months for him to get a place and has only been to the Kinder since September, and at one point we (the teachers and myself) thought that it might be best if he re-did the year as he was not settling in, cried when I had to leave, was very disobedient and didnt want to participate in any activities.
However he had his Christmas concert on Monday and he did great, he was singing along and doing the moves - I was sitting in the audience sobbing at my little boy
The teachers are so proud of him too, saying they cant believe the change in him in just 2 months time.
We went to pick up his Aussie uniform yesterday too - will have to post pictures, he's so proud of his new clothes
Its the end of an era... *sigh* blame the post-pg hormone changes
