pinching baby

i was wondering if any of your little ones pinch other babies? fins friend came round today and he kept pushing her and then deliberately pinched her twice ( before falling over the patio doors - karma strikes back , bless him )
he just turned one last friday and am hoping this is what some babies do as id be mortified if this continued when he goes to school , is it just a stage or something to keep a closer eye on? thanks x

Yes, just a phase I'd expect. He probably doesn't realise it hurts, just knows that it gets a reaction so he'll keep doing it to get that reaction iyswim.

I know I went through a biting stage, particularly my brother, until my Mum bit me back never did it again!

I can see how it worked for you but I'm REALLY not a fan of that technique personally...

Oh yes, wouldn't condone doing it, I know my Mum feels terrible about it to this day, she says she just lost it in the middle of the supermarket because I'd bitten my brother for about the 15th time that day & he was howling the place down and people were 'tutting' as they do

Definately a phase, biting, pinching, kicking I think most kids go through a phase of doing one or the other!
