Postby 123princesssammie » Mon Jan 17, 2011 10:39 pm

hey everyone?

alesha needs a new bed, her poor cotbed has been put up and taken apart so many times its not doing so well now

but was thinking about getting her a cabin bed (she has just turned 2) we have storage issues in my flat but also need something that is going to last her years to come

http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h ... x=69&ty=70

was thinking something on these lines?

but although i will put a bed guard on it am worried about her falling off?
she is a sensible girl and not a climber or anything

but has anyone had any expierance with this please?

xx

Hi hun

We had similar issues when Poppy was little too. At 10 months she became petrified of the cot sides so went into cotbed but as it was cheap and on its 2nd cycle of use the kids broke it quickly and at around 15/16 months we had to replace it! Poppy was in a tiny box room and our only real option was to buy her a cabin bed so she could actually have toys in there :)

She went into the cabin bed in the november (ready for xmas toys lol) and that would make her about 18 months old and we have never had any problems at all. No accidents or anything. You know your own child and if you are confident she will be ok then I would say go for it :)

bed had a cabin bed around 2 years and has loved it and never had any problems. He can get up on his own and is actually able to climb down on his own but prefers you to get him or at least guide him down.
It has been a great success and a very practical solution to a smaller room.
