Anyone's child (4+) got a Tag reader?

Are they any good?

Bella's seen them on TV and in Toys R Us and really likes the idea of them, especially as you can get Princesses, Dora and Fairy books with it. But I'm not sure how much use she'll get from it?

I was going to get her an Octopod for her birthday, but apparently they are nigh on impossible to get hold of at the moment, so need to find an alternative and this is the other thing she's been asking for. TBH, she's asked for this more than an Octopod.

Katie had the younger version (and will be getting the older version this year) and Ryan has one. They both love them.

Fab I've just ordered a pink one with 2 extra books for her birthday. If she really likes it, I'll get her some more books for Xmas.

My 2 have loved ours and 7 year old will often still play with it!

My 4yo only really got into it once he was 4 too - he got it when he was 3 but we were holding it and showing him the words. Lately he has been much more independent with it. It uses batteries like no one's business though so get some in.
