Can anyone recommend muslin squares?

Postby Bugglyboo » Sun Dec 30, 2012 5:03 am

I want to use some muslins for nappies in the first few weeks as I really can't afford a big newborn stash and Eddie was 12lbs at 4 weeks old and fitted hit birth to potty nappies really early.

I have lots of muslins already but they were cheap and quite thin and not very absorbant. I don't want to be spending a lot of money on them but I do want some more that are good quality (and possibly pretty colours :giggle: ).

What's your favourite brand etc and how much are they?

I havent used them as nappied, but i;ve got some from IKEA which are brilliant, a lot thicker than the ones I got from Toys r us etc. But I'm not sure if they sell them in the uk but I'd imagine they will as everything else seems to be the same

Oooo yeah. I'd forgotten about those. Hmmm, I wonder who I can bribe to go to Ikea for me.

I was gonna suggest Ikea too. I got a few there, intended just to use them as burp cloths, but they have thickened up really nicely when I prewashed them.

And they are super big too, bigger than the TRU ones, or boots for that matter.

I really like the MuslinZ brand I got from kittykins.
