they were so soft and fluffy when i bought them but now the terry part is all hard :( the fleece inner is still lovely and soft but I wanted this to last for the next baby but they're so crusty :(

Any tips??

Soaking in vinegar and water will help apperently, although don't think it will get them back to how they were :(

This is quite interesting reading. Bio powder keeps them softer (probably not an option with Erin's skin though :?

i read something about rainwater??? probably just very soft water.
by the same theory, maybe soak in vinegar and water? and then wash with calgon, and then tunble dry?
just a theory, not tried it myself

oh yeah rainwater. Can't say I've noticed any difference when I've left mine on the line though

no.1 tip for us is use a small measure of washing soda crystals with a teeny tiny dribble of surcare...

I put white vinegar in the softner drawer...

Do you tumbledry your nappies at all? An occasional tumble helps soften them up great!
