crusty bimbles

they were so soft and fluffy when i bought them but now the terry part is all hard the fleece inner is still lovely and soft but I wanted this to last for the next baby but they're so crusty

Any tips??

Soaking in vinegar and water will help apperently, although don't think it will get them back to how they were

i read something about rainwater??? probably just very soft water.
by the same theory, maybe soak in vinegar and water? and then wash with calgon, and then tunble dry?
just a theory, not tried it myself

oh yeah rainwater. Can't say I've noticed any difference when I've left mine on the line though

no.1 tip for us is use a small measure of washing soda crystals with a teeny tiny dribble of surcare...

I put white vinegar in the softner drawer...

Do you tumbledry your nappies at all? An occasional tumble helps soften them up great!
