How can I tell the difference between lollipop nappies?

Postby JennyPenny » Sun Mar 29, 2009 6:33 pm

Hello. Well I have some brand new lollipop nappies that I got in a size 1 bundle but I am not sure what they are. They are defiantly fleecy but they seem to do more than one type in fleece? I ask as I am thinking about selling them while they are brand new, but might keep them for our baby - I can't decide! I know I will get more for them when they are new and I could do with the funds for other (nappy related of course!) things.

http://www.teamlollipop.co.uk/shop/index.html

does that help at all??

microfleece would be slimmer than any other fleece!

Failing that you could post pics we may be able to distinguise (sp) for you

I had seen that page and had narrowed it down to the micro nappy and the softee. But I am still not 100%. Looks more like the softee to me but wouldn't want to sell it as the wrong thing! Thats IF I do sell them as they are pretty soft! It looks like the softee but that might be slightly because that is what colour I have got!

Anybody know how good they are as size 1 nappies? Not sure if to sell or keep?

I have no experience with them I'm afraid!

But if you decide to sell someone may be able to identify from a pic

Hi, hopefully I can help as I'm a Lollipop advisor.

Sounds like either a microfleece or softee.

Should be easy to tell difference as the micros are very slim fitting and the softees are a big nappy that feels just like a teddy bear!!!
If they're white or cream they're softees if they're coloured e.g. turquoise or claret they're micros.

HTH

Thank you! They must be softees. I think I am going to keep them for now and wait till my baby is here and in that size and see how I feel then. We could do with the funds now though TBH but it would be silly to sell them when I am about to have a baby in that size I guess. I have got a few preloved lolloipop nappies (again, still don't know what they are either but not worried about those really.) The preloved ones are not softees though for sure.

They are VERY soft! The soft of thing where it is a shame to let baby poo all over it! :giggle:

Hi,

I have bought a softee and a micro nappy to try for a night time nappy. They are great!!
I bought size 2 as my DS is now 17lb and they are lovely, they lasted 12 hours with lots of wriggling and a poo to top it of in the morning.
I agree it seems wrong to want to poo in such a lovely nappy, I want to snuggle up with the softee!! Not now he has pooed in it!
They wash really well, and im weaning!

I have been adding a bamboo insert under the insert as my DS is a mega wetter.

They dry very fast as well.

I say keep them your bubs will love them.
