Love UDNN - what are the day nappies like?

Want to add something different to my expanding collection. My daughter is a reasonably heavy wetter. Her cotton tots are wet in 3 hours. We are new converts to wool and so would like some more absorbant nappies

Are the UDDN any good, how do they perform on the slimness side of things? Are there any other nappies which I should consider e.g EHHemp or WNNL?

Come on ladies, advise please ( afterall, you lot got me into this!!, till now Tots fitted the bill perfectly!)

Haven't tried UD day nappies but I can really recommend:

WNNL - sooo absorbent and relatively slim
Flutterby Fluff - absolutely gorgeous (no slots available at the mo though)
Baby Beehinds birth-to-potty bamboo - a bit less flexible than other nappies but the most absorbent fitteds I've ever tried (I think they've stopped selling these new but there are usually some in the classifieds).

I love all of these. Wasn't over-keen on EH though - they were a bit too 'firm' for my liking and not as absorbent as I would have liked. They seem to be really popular though.

WSS although all WAHM fitted nappies are far superior to mass produced ones IMO. We also love Holdens Landing, Sweetiebums and Lucy's Hope Chest. Take a look at the list of WAHMs in the WAHM section. If you like UDNN's you'll probably get on well with their day fitteds too.

I like EH Hemp but I don't think they would be suitable for a heavy wetter.

My UDDN is slim (side snap in soy). It is very like the UDNN I have but without the trifold part of the insert. It is a sleeker fit than cotton tots (no 'bumps' at the hips) & more absorbent IMO. Mine has a blue microflece inner and little blue teddy poppers - very cute! I am just about to order a few more.

I took the plunge and ordered 3 UDDN and 3 WNNL, I put my new but washed bamboozles on to ebay and here to sell to fund the purchase!! I loved their softness but on the one I have used I didn't get on with the poppers and prefer nippa.
I am ok with side snap poppers though - weird!
This leads me onto my next ? - what are the best bamboo ( well not just bamboo, just slim and absorbant) daytime nappies that are nippa fastening?

I have ordered lots of wool over the weekend - longies and shorties from Ali and longies from Seahorse slacks. I must be well and truly 'up the creek without a paddle' now as I spent all of my £100 birthday money from my in-laws on them. My excuse to dh, who thinks I am mad,( especially when I follow him around the house with worn wool for him to feel!!) was that I am still post baby and need to lose more weight before I buy any more clothes for me!

I have no girls , so my bank account has been saved a bit of a hammering as I love all the skirties that photos have been posted of!
