Ellas House hemp, very slim! How absorbant though?

Postby sandraseventynine » Sat Jul 04, 2009 7:34 am

I've bought two Ellas House hemp shaped nappies for my twins to try out. They look so slim though that i'm a bit scared to try them out! I've only pre-washed them once so far but even after more washes they look like they'd leak as there's not much to them at all.
Can people who have used them give me an idea of if they're any good? How long roughly will they last before I have to change?
It'll be great if they are good as they are really neat :D
Thanks,
Sandra

I have one of these and use it with a fleece topped booster in and it lasts 2-3 hours! It used to last 3-4 but he has just started to be more of a heavy wetter. Thay are more absorbent than cotton tots bots, but not as absorbent as UD fitteds, WNNL or Hollow Oak fitteds. Is that any help?

I had one and was a bit frightened to use it as it was so slim, so in the end I used it as the inbetween bathtime and bedtime nappy. It was absorbant, just not massively absorbant, it coped fine with one wee but really that was it for Evie. Because its so slim you could easily boost it and still have a slim nappy
