Is it possible.....

.... to 'boost' a fitted and how would you do it? I have some lovely fitteds for lo but when I don't put a wrap on (if we are indoors) he has soaked through them in 1/1.5 hours so can I put a booster of some sort in it or the wrap to get it to last longer???

Yes you can boost with pretty much what ever you like. Most people find hemp or bamboo boosters the best, although you can use cotton or microfibre too. In fact the cheapest way of boosting is to get some microfibre cloths from the cleaning aisle at the supermarket.

You can either put the boosters inside the nappy or if this affects the fit of the nappy then you can put the boosters between the nappy and the wrap - just whichever you find works best.

HTH :D

It's also a good idea to think about layering the inserts/ boosters. Cotton/mf then bamboo then hemp.
Hemp last because although it's very absorbant, it does it slowly. bamboo before hemp as it's also more absorbant than cotton but faster then hemp. MF is very absorbant but some babies'skin don't like it and it acts a bit like a sponge so if there pressure, the moisture comes back out.

I use microfibre (from poundland) in pockets and fitteds with a pocket (e.g. fluffles) but not next to LO's skin

We use bamboo (Wee Notions) and Easy Peasy Hemp inserts (5 for £10 and free p&p).

Thanks ladies. I was getting worried that I couldn't and would have to sell them  . Glad I can keep them and just boost them as desired now :D

I boost between the nappy and cover - so less gaping in legs of nappy.
