Cloth nappies do feel alarmingly wet if you're used to disposables but I wouldn't worry so long as they're not leaking.

What wrap are you using on top? I think Motherease wraps are bombproof and use them over my TotsBots Bamboozles.

I haven't tried cotton TotsBots but I do use a lot of cotton Motherease One Size nappies and they seem very absorbent to me.

But there's no harm in popping in an extra booster if you think you're going to be out for a while. Motherease do some super slim bamboo boosters and I use them to boost night nappies and pocket nappies.

But a nappy should last 3-4 hours before being sodden I would say and as long as you aren't getting leaks then you are doing fine. I would say a heavy wetter is a baby who can make a nappy totally wet through in 1 hour
.

WSS As long as it isnt leaking then its ok....The nappy is meant to get wet all the way through...
Sometimes when i change Henry the whole nappy is wet including the tabs :giggle:

Well when i changed her into her 4th nappy, she promptly pood lol - all over the liner and not on the nappy  But it was also wet thru at the front! Weird! Maybe it was too low at the front? How high are they meant to be? Coz they sit just below her belly button....

Are they leaking through the wrap?
If not i doesnt really matter where is getting wet first as long as they dont leak

Usually a nappy will get wet in one place first of all but will then spread through the nappy. Try not to worry too much about the wetness. As pps have said, as long as you aren't getting leaks out of the wrap then you are doing great. If the nappy is wet, it is doing it's job
