Recomend me some nappies

Postby Lollyp0p » Tue Aug 25, 2009 5:16 pm

Hello all

I have had to have an overhaul on my nappies as my lo is VERY sensitive to man made fibres which leaves his bottom sore and rashy so after selling all my fleece lined nappies and suade clothe lined ect I am now looking for some alternatives

I've looked at puddlekins, they look lovely but what do people think?

I would prefer bamboo as my lo is a very heavy wetter already (only 11 weeks) he is quite a chunk though already the size of a small 6 month old.

I need to be ordering these soon as I need to replace the ones I have sold and I'm washing my current nappies morning and night to keep a clean supply so HELP!

I too like bamboo, all our nappied are bamboo apart from our 3 night nappies, we use a simple mix of bamboo little lambs, bamboo puddlekins and bamboo Goodmamas, thats all thats in our stash. I love puddlekins nappies, we have 11 daytime and 3 nighttime and they are fabby  They just seem to work well for Kieren :)

Our natural nappies with bamboo for absorbency-

WE have

Goodmama fitteds - trim, absorbent, one sized but the poppers arent hidden (so lay next to babies skin)
Puddlekins fitteds - we have ordered a one size - not received it yet but the CSP we got from there is amazing so im sure the nappy will be!
Flutterby Fluff - sized, bamboo velour, very abosorbent and slim but no custom slots at the moment.
WNNL/WNNN sized fitteds, trim but not as trim as the GM and FFs above. Bamboo inner. Quite absorbent, the night version is considerably better than the NL imo!
HL and dunk n fluff aslo have bamboo velour inners, these are both brilliant too! from the USA but some UK stockists sell them :)
